LizMetallic Thread-Size 20-Rose

Unique Metallic Thread for All Needle Arts! A strong, smooth, kink resistant Metallic thread.  This thread will unwind from the ball easily.  It is comparable to size 20 cotton thread.  Recommended hook/needles:  Steel crochet hooks size 9-10 (1.15-1.25 mm) Tatting needle size 5-0 or 7-fine. Knitting needle 0000 (1.25 mm). Each ball is approximately 25 gm, 155 yds.  Because this is metallic and not a natural fiber, there may be variance in size from color to color as well as difference in color from dye lot to dye lot.  Care: Thread is hand washable in cool water or machine wash cool on gentle cycle.  Do not bleach.  May tumble dry on low setting.  If ironing a finished piece, do not iron directly on thread; use a cloth over it and do not use steam setting on the iron.  The metallic is dyed so it could bleed a little on the first wash.
